Kendal came to faith at the age of five, and still strives to maintain a childlike trust in God. He and his wife/best friend, Sherry have three adult children and have started two churches together.

He enjoys hanging out with people at his ‘office’ at Panera to talk about spiritual next steps. In his spare time, he loves to read, especially biographies and science-fiction. He’s passionate about helping new churches get started, both here and around the world. Kendal has a BS in Molecular Biology and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary

His claim to fame? He once shook the hand of a descendant of Abraham Lincoln. He shook the hand of a man who shook the hand of a man who shook Abraham Lincoln’s hand! That’s pretty much direct contact with the bearded bastion of democracy himself – how exciting!
