Kids Crossing
Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are passionate to see kids learn about Jesus in a way they can understand!
We would love to have you and your family visit Kids Crossing this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!
Your First Visit
As you enter East Ridge, look straight ahead through the lobby for our Welcome Table. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following information: family members’ names, children’s names and birth dates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
How check-in works
You may check in your child at the Welcome Table. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child are given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we’ll text you (if you’ve shared your information), or one of our volunteers will find you in the auditorium and lead you back to Kids Crossing.
The Ride Home
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a clear and positive answer to these two questions, every week! See you Sunday!

Kids Crossing is excited to care for and teach all children starting at babies, and up through fifth grade. We invite middle and high school students to join their parents in the auditorium for the main service, and then to learn with kids their age in our middle and high school youth groups which meet outside of the service time.
Building a foundational faith begins in your earliest moments! To accomplish our teaching goals, we use “The Gospel Project” developed by Lifeway Kids. Check out their website kidsministry.lifeway.com to find out more on Lifeway, their mission, their curriculum, and why we love them!
Only scheduled Crossing volunteers teach and interact with your kids. All people volunteering in Kids Crossing have gone through a background check. We allow high school students to volunteers in Kids Crossing, but they are always accompanied by a registered adult volunteer. From the moment your drop them off, to the moment you pick them up, they are in good hands.
